Hi, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to check out my website.  My name is Tim Bildhauser and I'm known as lscomics on the comic related sites that I frequent.  I lived in Northwest Indiana for 43 years and in October of 2014 moved to St. Petersburg, Florida.  I've been in the hobby, both collecting and selling comic books, for over 30 years.  Several years ago I switched the focus of my collecting from American published books to foreign editions, mainly those with art by Neal Adams, Bernie Wrightson and Nick Cardy.  Along the way I've also managed to dig up quite a few other odds and ends from various countries as well.

I'm the Associate Editor of Foreign Comic Collector magazine ( http://foreigncomiccollector.webs.com/ ) which is an online fan publication about foreign editions of comics published in the US as well as original material published around the globe.
Along with that I'm one of the moderators for the FCC forum (  http://foreigncomicdb.com/index.php ), a place where collectors of foreign editions can discuss, buy, sell and trade.
I relocated to Florida in October of 2014 to work as a grader at CBCS Comics. https://www.cbcscomics.com/#/index
I have been added to the list of advisers to the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide as Foreign Comic Book Specialist.
Due to recent developments I have resigned from my position as a grader at CBCS and moved back to NW Indiana.  I will, however, be staying on with the company in the capacity of Consultant & Foreign Comic SpecialistAs a result, you can expect to see me working the CBCS booth at more conventions than before where I'll continue to do my best to advise collectors submitting comics for grading about whether or not a book is worth submitting as well as answering general grading questions.

I'm sure that while checking out the site you've seen quite a few books you never even knew existed.  Collecting foreign editions isn't for everyone but I hope that I've been able to broaden your horizons at least a little.

If you have any questions or just want to offer feedback about the site fill out the form below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.  I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you for contacting us. We will get back to you as soon as possible

Pictured here:  Batman #237, Goodwill Bookstore edition, from the Philippines.  Based on the environment these books were subjected to along with the fact that the majority of Filipino collectors view them as inferior caused most of them to be poorly cared for or thrown out.  The condition of this one and where it's from probably make it one of the rarest comics I own.  In general, you just don't see books from the Philippines in any grade above Fine (6.0).
